Welcome to the Underhill Driving School web site. My name is Robert Underhill. I have been a Certified Driving Instructor since 1987 and have over 40 years of driving experience. I hold the following endorsements: CDL-A, MC, & PNH. Classes are held during the Spring and Summer. AGE REQUIREMENT: Students need to be 15 years and 9 months of age by the first date of the class. A parent may begin practice driving with a child at age 15 1/2. You must be at least 16 years of age to get a New Hampshire driver's license. Persons 16 and 17 years of age may get a driver's license only if they pass an approved driver education course. Those 16 or 17 years of age must present a Parent or Guardian Authorization Certificate and a Driver's Out-Of-Class Log Sheet which requires 40 hours of out-of-class driving, and 10 of the 40 hours must be after sunset, with parent or guardian when applying for a license. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: You must maintain an 80% or better average to successfully complete and pass the course. 80% or better on Road Sign test. Upon successful completion of the course, students will go to the Dept. of Motor Vehicle for written and road testing for a NH Driver's License. |
